Job Description:
My client is a legal 500 law firm on the lookout for an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join their office in SW London. The ideal candidate will possess excellent commercial skills and a strong focus on business development
Key Responsibilities
* Handle commercial litigation cases by drafting pleadings, statements of case, and other court documents with minimal supervision.
* Perform comprehensive legal research and provide in-depth analysis on various legal matters.
* Assist in pre-trial preparations, including drafting witness statements, preparing bundles, and coordinating with counsel.
* Advocate for clients in court, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution processes
* Build and maintain robust client relationships, aiding in client retention and business development
* Formulate and execute strategies to attract new clients and expand the firm’s litigation practice.
* Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking functions to elevate the firm’s profile.
* Work with the marketing team to develop and implement business development initiatives
* Guide and support junior team members, promoting a collaborative team environment.
