The Head of Operations will lead the manufacturing departmentwith a focuson SQCDP.
This role would suit someone who is invested in developing, inspiring and motivating a team whilst focusing on driving continuous improvement and implementing and maintaining modern manufacturing principles.
Duties of the Head of Operations will include
* Provide strategic leadership and direction to the operations team
* Oversee all aspects of plantoperations
* Develop and implement operational strategies and initiatives to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and enhanceproductivity
* Lead incident investigations and root causeanalyses
* Responsibility for manufacturing budgets
* Lead multi-disciplined,cross functionalteams
* Ensure the target productivity level isachieved
* Maintain strong relationships with other departmentalmanagers
* Develop and mentor operations staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuouslearning
We are keen to speak with Heads of Operations / Senior Operations Managers with the following:
* Degree Qualified in a relevant engineering field
* Extensive people management experience
* Experience in managing Profit & Loss within a manufacturing environment
* Strong financial and commercial acumen
