The ONE Group are delighted to be working with this Cambridge based deeptech startup. Using innovative nanotechnology, they are coming up with ambitious solutions for optical applications, including VR, AR and smart glasses.
They are growing their small team and are looking for a Nanofabrication Engineer. This role will give you the opportunity to work at the forefront of this groundbreaking technology which is a talking point within the nano-optical world.
To be successful, you should have proven experience with nanofabrication in a cleanroom environment.
The Role:
* Develop and optimise nanofabrication processes
* Prepare test samples and prototypes
* Identify areas of process improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes and improvements
* Carry out experiments and tests to evaluate the effectiveness of process changes
* Develop and maintain process documentation
About You:
* Relevant Degree
* At least 2 years’ experience in cleanroom nanofabrication, ideally in industry
* Familiarity with nanofabrication process and tools, such as thin film deposition, photolithography, E-beam lithography, RIE, ALD, etching, evaporation, etc
* Solid understanding of cleanroom processes and regulations
* Enthusiastic about working within a startup organisation
