A dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher is required to work at a popular Good secondary school in Bury, to join them on a full-time basis for the Autumn term, September until December in the first instance. . . This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers. . . You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents’ evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. This school teaches Edexcel at GCSE and has a key focus on problem solving and reasoning skills throughout KS3 and KS4. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way, in tandem with AfL. . . Hours 8:30am 4pm . . EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS: . . Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however, it is not essential that it is Maths related) . . Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Maths . . Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference) . . Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference) . . Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training) . . Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training) . .
