IT Project Manager – Web Development, Ecommerce

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Project Manager to join an innovative, family-owned business based in Harlow. This role involves overseeing and supporting the development of websites across the company and playing a key role in shaping the Ecommerce strategy to drive growth.

The position is primarily based in Harlow, with the flexibility to work from home one day a week after completing the probationary period. A valid UK driving license is required.
In addition to a base salary of £45,000, you will join a dedicated and hardworking team committed to providing excellent customer service and encouraging people to engage in arts and crafts.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage ongoing development projects for the Ecommerce website, including requirement gathering, testing, and delivery.
* Lead the enhancement of the existing website, oversee the migration to new platforms, and implement new web-based solutions and tools.
* Troubleshoot web-related issues to ensure smooth business operations.
* Initiate and lead website improvements to enhance the customer journey.
* Act in a team lead capacity, mentoring team members, setting an example, and distributing tasks effectively.

Skills Required:
* Previous experience in a Web Development environment, particularly in a technical role.
* Proven experience in leading and managing web-related projects.
* Technical proficiency in Ecommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.
* Strong knowledge of web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, PHP, and Python.
* Experience working with and managing third-party web development agencies.
