* Overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers and developing new business from existing clients
* Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits
* Developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
* Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
* Collaborating with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory
* Assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
* Forecasting and tracking key account metrics
Profile
A successful Account Manager should have:
* A strong background in sales, preferably in the Business Services sector
* Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail
* Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
* Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office
