Job Description:
Are you seeking a rewarding full-time position as an Employment Advisor in Birmingham? On behalf of our client, a leading provider of employability and the Restart scheme, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to manage, develop, and support a caseload of customers. This role involves providing encouragement, training, brokerage, and coordination of activities including development planning, effective monitoring, and guidance to ensure progression to sustained employment.
Role Overview
As an Employment Advisor, you will:
* Build strong, collaborative relationships with customers.
* Tailor support to individual needs, motivating, coaching, and challenging customers to fulfil their potential.
* Enable customers to secure sustainable employment.
This full-time role is based in their ideally located in Birmingham City Centre office, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you must have:
* Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* The capability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* Experience in coaching and influencing through previous roles.
* A genuine passion for making a difference to customers.
* Knowledge of local job markets and the recruitment sector.
This role requires an enhanced DBS and BPSS to be completed, covering pre-employment checks including identity, employment history (minimum of 3 years), nationality/immigration status, and criminal records.
