Hybrid 1-2 days in the office/Support Centre on Hams Hall Distribution Park, Coleshill.
On site 5 days per week – Monday to Friday.
Time & a half overtime rate will be offered for additional days worked (over contractual days per week).
Shift Pattern
Shift pattern will be predominantly fixed AM shift (whilst flexibility will be required).

Become a Shift Manager 

We’re looking for a Shift Manager to join our Distribution Centre leadership team to help keep things running smoothly over our peak period. If you are passionate about fostering a positive work environment, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting the growth and development of our DC team members, then come and join us.

Your Mission

* Organising and scheduling shifts, making sure everyone’s in the right place based on what they’re good at.
* Keeping an eye on who’s showing up for work, checking our records to see who’s here and who’s not, and making sure they’re accurate.

* Making sure the place is safe and clean, dealing with accidents or close calls, and keeping an eye on everyone’s health and safety.

* Being ready to help in emergencies like first aid or fires, checking our equipment before and after each shift, and keeping track of what happens.
* Helping Team Leaders keep everyone on track with their work and behaviour.

* Dealing with problems or rule-breaking in a fair way.

* Figuring out how much stock we need each day and making sure we use it wisely to save money.

* Watching how well we’re doing each hour and making decisions about who should do what.

* Making sure everyone has the skills they need to do their jobs to the best of their ability.

* Helping new people get settled in and trained in key areas.

* Making sure everyone knows the rules and follows them, and making sure our documents about how we work are up-to-date.

* Checking that the information we have about who’s trained for which jobs is correct.

* Making sure everyone gets training when they need it & refresher sessions when required.
* Working with Managers and Team Leaders to find better ways of doing things.
Skills/Behaviours That Will Set You Apart

* Can identify S.W.O.T’s and take required measures.
* Working to budgets through use of KPI Metrics
* IOSH trained (not essential)
* I.T literate, experienced in Excel
* WMS experience
* Proactive and solution-based attitude.
* Engaging and confident in delivering briefs and presenting information to large groups and in 1:2:1’s.
* Flexibility on working hours where required.
* Open minded to try new things and able to provide constructive feedback.
* Strong leadership skills
* Ability to influence and drive standards across site
