Accounts Assistant l North Manchester l £27,000-£30,000 l 3 months temp (potential for extension) l Hybrid- 2 days in the office

Job Overview:

Axon Moore is delighted to be working with this growing Tech business which is expanding their team. This role will report into the Finance Manager and will offer exposure to wider finance duties. This role is perfect for somebody AAT Qualified, with a few years of experience in a similar role, and is immediately available to start work.

Daily Duties:
* Providing support to the Accounting Department.
* Processing transactions and updating ledgers.
* Assisting with resolving discrepancies.
* Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing.
* Maintaining accurate and detailed customer/Supplier records and creating new customer accounts.
* Building a good rapport with clients.
* Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
* Preparing and entering journals into the system.
* Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties.


Person Specification:
* AAT Qualifications would be desirable.
* Proficiency with computers, Excel & bookkeeping software
* Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
* Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
* Solid low-level accountancy and basic bookkeeping skills.
* Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
* Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
* Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
* Ideally have a few years in a similar finance-based role.
* Confident communicator & great attention to detail
* Strong analytical skills and a real passion for improving performance & proving support to wider team when required.
