Job Description:
Locum Band 6Occupational Therapist
Location: South East England
Contract Duration: ASAP until a minimum of 3 months
Working Hours: 08:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday
About Client: Our client offers extensive healthcare services across various sites, including emergency care, surgery, and maternity. They focus on integrating education and research to enhance patient care and medical training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
* Support and mentor junior staff and students.
* Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a Band 6 position.
* Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Effective organizational and time-management abilities.
