Your main responsibility will be responding to inquiries on basic technical issues and providing guidance to resolve their problems. You will need to possess outstanding communication skills, being customer-oriented and prioritise customer satisfaction delivering five star Customer service.. Duties. * Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, IM or F2F.. * Perform remote troubleshooting utilising diagnostic techniques and relevant questioning methods and determine the best solution.. * Walk the customer through the problem-solving process. * Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel. * Provide accurate information on IT products or services. * Records events and problems and their resolution in the ticketing system. * Follow-up and update customer status information. * Pass on any feedback or suggestion by customers to the appropriate internal team. Skills required . * Customer - orientated & calm with Excellent communication skills ,. * Proven experience as a support desk technician or similar customer support role.. * Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, service desk and desktop support.. * Good understanding of computer systems, and mobile devices.. * Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues with a first contact expected fix rate of 60%.. * If you are also able to speak a second language that would be an advantage but not essential..
