Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000
Job Type: Permanent
The Role
* Managing the site-based team to ensure that the required health, safety and environmental performance standards are met.
* Monitor progress of the build programme to ensure construction methods and timescales are met and take corrective action to bring progress back in line.
* Agree and manage the equipment, plant, staffing and sub-contract requirements for the site.
The Company
Our client is a leading steelwork company working on Aviation, Industrial and Engineering projects across the UK.
The Candidate
* SMSTS certificate, full UK Driving Licence, CSCS card at Site Manager level or equivalent, BTEC diploma in Building Construction or NVQ Level 3 or 4.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a site manager with the ability to chair and run meetings.
* Strong background in a site construction environment.
