Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer outside of Cleckheaton who, due to recent market growth, are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our Engineering and Production service Teams.
The Quality Engineer position is a very integral company position, working with all departments within the business ensuring we conform to ISO9001 and company standards. This is a great opportunity for someone to become a technical expert in their field, drive product and company quality alike and establish a new department.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Maintain and update the Quality manual to comply with ISO9001 standards
* Internally audit and inspect all company departments 
* Work alongside Engineering team in new product development to drive quality from the start (APQP)
* Create, maintain & evaluate company Control Plans / Statistical Process Control (SPC)
* Investigate problems, analyse root causes and drive resolutions
* Ensure good maintenance & calibration of tooling, jigs, fixtures is upheld
* Create, modify and maintain work instructions / standard operating procedures
I’m keen to speak to experienced Quality Engineer’s with the following skillset:
* Experienced working as a Quality Engineer within manufacturing environment
* Ideally exposure to automotive standards
* Auditor to ISO9001
* Strong knowledge of problem solving tools and lean methodologies
