Interim Head of Finance - FinTech Payments

A dynamic, payments based FinTech business who have recently secured funding are searching for an Interim Head of Finance to lead the businesses expanding finance function. As the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and operations of the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a high-performing finance team and provide strategic guidance to support and secure the businesses long term growth plans. This role is ideal for anyone who is immediately available and looking to secure their next step.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
* Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
* Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements, compliance with accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
* Implement robust financial controls, risk management frameworks, and internal audit processes.
The ideal candidate will have:
* ACA/ACCA qualification with significant years PQE
* Proven experience in senior finance roles, preferably within the FinTech industry.
* Demonstrated track record of driving financial strategy, performance, and business growth.
* Experience in fundraising, investor relations, and M&A transactions.
* Experience with NetSuite ideal
