Interim Financial Accountant – D2C Ecommerce

Talentedge are working with an Ecommerce scale-up business who are seeking a skilled and experienced Interim Financial Accountant to join their expanding finance team. As an online fashion business, this role will be supporting the Head of Finance in managing the stock accounting arm of finance. This role is ideal for anyone who is immediately available and looking for their next opportunity with an exciting business.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting principles.
* Support the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
* Develop and implement robust financial controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
* Track and allocate various costs associated with inventory, including purchase costs, shipping costs, and other related expenses.
* Regularly reconcile physical inventory counts with book balances, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
The ideal candidate will have:
* ACA/ACCA qualification with at least 2 years PQE
* Experience working in Ecom/Retail/Consumer business
* Exposure to stock accounting
* Extensive experience working with NetSuite
