The One Group are recruiting on behalf of an already established but growing business based in Tuckswood in Norwich, who are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant in a newly created position. This role would see you working on a full time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and progress with a business who is passionate about upskilling, and will be somewhere you will have a development plan with from day one.

Responsibilities:
* Daily authorisation of payments
* Weekly processing of manufacturer bonuses
* Balance Sheet reconciliations with narrative and timely follow-ups
* Assist management with queries arising from the management accounts
* Monitor all debts within the business and regularly chase up and report on all outstanding or ageing debt
* Advise management of any discrepancies or other problems encountered or highlight any concerns/potential fraud
* Assist accountant processing accruals and prepayments

This role would suit someone who is currently working in an accounts assistant position and actively studying towards their AAT’s or an established Assistant Accountant who is looking to progress without the qualifications.
