Science teacher - Oldham - September start . . A dedicated and passionate Science Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Oldham. The role will start in September, will be full time and will be for the whole of the academic year. . . This position is open to ECTs as well as experienced science teachers. . . You will be required to teach science to key stage 3 & 4 classes and become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents’ evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. It would be advantageous if you have previously delivered sessions in a science based after school club or revision sessions, however, this is not essential. . . CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS: . . Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B. Ed, QTS, etc) in science . . Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference) . . Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference) . . Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training) . . Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training) . .
