ABOUT THE SCHOOL. Prospero Teaching are recruiting on behalf of a specialist high school in Oldham, Greater Manchester who are looking for a Qualified Level 2 TA to join their team. . The school is for children aged 5-19 with significant learning difficulties and autism. Students attending may have witnessed developmental trauma, and the centre focussing on a tailored approach to learning. . The team are looking for someone to join them that can evident previous experience in a similar setting and that are strong and confident. . The school are looking for someone who is confident, dedicated and excels in behaviour management. . The role will consist of:. * Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN (special education needs). * Creating a safe environment that allows the children to have fun, learn and succeed. * Academic support of a 1:1 basis or in small groups. * Assisting the teacher. The Ideal Candidate:. * Level 2 TA qualified or equivalent. * Knowledge and experience teaching KS3 mainstream curriculum. * Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis.
