EXPERIENCED CLASS 1 (C+E) HGV DRIVERS NEEDED - SKELMERSDALE. Search Consultancy are looking to induct Class 1 HGV Drivers for a major supermarket chain in the North West.. . THE JOB. You will be driving a Class 1 HGV (C+E) truck. Fridge (mostly) and curtainsider trailer.. You will be making store deliveries around the UK. As part of this job, you will be required to unload the goods from (usually) a fridge trailer. This can be pallets or roll cages. Normal day will involve multiple deliveries to various locations around the UK. . Our client offers an excellent induction training programme (with Paid Training!) where you will learn all aspects of the job as well as standard health and safety procedures. The client requires the drivers to pass an assessment (theory and practice).. . SHIFT PATTERNS. We are looking for Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work shifts as required from any 5 days out of 7.. This client is looking for night drivers mostly who can start after 10pm (or 6pm), but day drivers are also welcome.. . PAYE Rates - Min 8 hours pay per shift. (Hourly Rate with holiday pay saved up separately). Morning - £15. Afternoon (Backs) - £16.95. Night - £17.64. Overtime paid after 45 hours.. Rates are subject to an increase for length of service (after first 12 weeks and then 27 weeks). . PAYE Rates including holiday - Min 8 hours pay per shift. (Hourly Rate with holiday pay added to the pay). Morning - £16.81. Afternoon (Backs) - £19. Night - £19.77. Overtime paid after 45 hours.. Rates are subject to an increase for length of service (after first 12 weeks and then 27 weeks). . WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A DRIVER:. We are looking for committed drivers looking for ongoing work.. Must have a valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence.. For Insurance purposes you will need to have no more than 3 minor points on your licence. .
