Job Description:
Venn Group are working with a healthcare client who are looking to hire an Interim Project Accountant for a balance sheet reconciliation project.
Location: North London
Hybrid: 3 days on site / 2 days WFH
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 pa
Duration: 3 months +
The Interim Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in leading the reconciliation of the Balance Sheet for the year ended 31 March 2024 and updating these reconciliations through to the current time. They will also support with the delivery of the year end audit. This is a very hands-on role which will require working closely with the current Financial Accountant and Group Financial Controller. Key to the role is tenacity and high attention to detail.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
* Ensure integrity, reconciliation and monthly reporting of all Balance Sheet accounts across all entities
* Reconcile and maintain the intercompany matrix
* Liaising closely and being a point of contact with external auditors during the annual audit process maintaining strong professional relationships
Knowledge and skills
* Qualified accountant (preferably ACA)
* Extensive experience of Balance Sheet reconciliations
* Advanced Excel skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Knowledge of Sage 200 is desirable
