Internal Sales Administrator
Location: Bedford
Salary: Up to £25,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Onsite
Our Bedford based client is a leader in providing innovative solutions across the globe. We are currently seeking a dedicated Expeditor & Internal Sales Administrator to join their team and support the internal sales/applications team in delivering outstanding customer service.
The Expeditor & Internal Sales Administrator will be responsible for supporting the internal sales/applications team by providing quotations, processing customer orders, and ensuring efficient communication with global customers. This role is essential in maintaining smooth operations and exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain outstanding sales reports.
* Establish communication and coordinate with production and purchasing teams.
* Maintain good relationships with customers and keep them updated throughout the order process.
* Provide exceptional customer service to exceed customers’ expectations.
* Follow up on orders and shipments and provide feedback to customers.
* Coordinate special shipping instructions with the operations team.
* Receive inquiries from customers via email or telephone.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
* Ability to work efficiently to deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving and persuasive communication skills.
* Good understanding of stock levels, component allocation, and manufacturing environments.
* SAP experience is desirable but not necessary.
* Good math skills for gross margin calculations.
* Excellent telephone manner.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
* Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with grades A-C in Math and English.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing and sales environment is required.
