Support Practitioner (Req: Driver)
Have you ever worked as a Learning Disability Support Worker before? If yes, are you looking for opportunities to develop new skills and advance your career in a different environment?
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individualized support to clients with learning disabilities in various settings, including their homes, community, and residential facilities.
* Encourage and support clients in developing independent living skills, social skills, and participation in community activities.
* Monitor and document clients progress, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
* Administer medication and manage healthcare appointments as required.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or in a similar support role.
* Strong understanding of learning disabilities and the challenges faced by individuals with such conditions.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Valid driver’s license
