Role: Psychotherapist
Salary: £35,300 pro rata, per annum
Part time
Location: West Midlands and Central Midlands
Driving licence and access to a car required

Horizon Care & Education are looking for a Clinical Psychotherapists to join our passionate team, delivering a comprehensive therapeutic service for children in our care in West and Central Midlands.
What youll get to do
- Deliver evidence based therapeutic and psychologically led care which conforms to the standards outlined by the HCPC and BPS under supervision
- Undertake comprehensive psychological assessments and write psychological reports for children and young people in the care of Horizon Care & Education
- Develop, write and regularly reviewupdate therapeutic care plans for children and young people in residential care and education
- Manage a limited caseload for individual intervention, providing specialist psychological input to young people and teams in residential care and educational settings
- Contribute to the development of a therapeutically informed service across education and residential teams.
What were looking for from you
- Experience of working with Children and Young People or relevant demonstrable transferable skills is essential
- Post-doctoral knowledge of applied psychology including developmental lifespan psychology, models of psychopathology
- Experiencing in the assessment and management of self-harm risk crisis management safeguarding
- Experience of teaching, training andor supervision.
- Accepted by the British Psychological Society as qualifying the person to work as a clinical counselling forensic Psychotherapistrelevant qualification to enable HCPC registration
- Knowledge of Therapeutic practices
- Experience of working with sensory strategies
- A desire to support services through embedding therapeutic practice
- Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Ability to work autonomously with the support from individual and peer supervision
- Ability to role model behaviours and attitudes in line with organisational values
- A sound understanding of Microsoft Office components, including knowledge of Excel, Teams and SharePoint
- Full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle
