The successful applicants will need:. - Must hold a SENCO Qualification or be close to completing. - Must have a QTS status. - Make a valuable contribution to the offering that young people receive at the school as part of the provision of high-quality teaching and learning.. - Have some experience of working effectively with local authorities.. - Have a passion for ensuring all young people succeed.. - Be able to work effectively within a supportive, committed, and successful staff team.. - Have high aspirations for themselves and others, and a commitment to further development.. - Have a robust understanding of SEND Code of practice. - An understanding of SEMH education and how to support the additional needs associated with SEMH pupils.. .
