Our service supports individuals of 16 years old and above residing in the. Borough of Brent to cope with a Mental Health Crisis or learn how to prevent. one. The service works both on referrals from statutory services and on an. Open Access basis, meaning that Brent residents can either be referred by. other CNWL services or drop-incall the service during working hours (14:00 to. 22:00) any day of the year (open 365 days a year) for emotional support. Coves offer a safe, inviting, and inclusive space for individuals where we aim. to support them to reduce their immediate anxiety and crisis, create a. tailored support plan and reduce the likelihood of the crisis reoccurring.. . **A day in this role looks like….**. . As a Recovery Worker**** at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Mental. Health & Complex Needs Service. Your contributions will directly influence the. lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and. independence.. . A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to dobe. responsible for are:. . * To clearly articulate the aims and objectives, pathway and service model to people using the service so they can fully participate in and co-produce their support?. * Empower service users to engage effectively in their liaisons with professionals within the community such as community mental health teams, social work teams, housing providers, health professionals, Job Centre Plus etc.?. * Work flexibly as part of a team to ensure service coverage and that contractual obligations are met. ?. * Develop co-produced group activities, peer support networks and other community-based approaches to empowering service users to achieve their goals and aspirations and to encourage service users to access these opportunities. ?. * Actively monitor the health, wellbeing, safety and security of the service and its users ensuring all concerns are followed up promptly and in line with procedures?. * Participate in the core work of the service, providing support to colleagues, carrying out tasks allocated by the service manager and using initiative to identify and deal with additional tasks as they arise. ?. * Assist the manager to manage health and safety, repairs and maintenance of the premises. ?. * To collect rents and service charges, and manage arrears proactively by following policy, protocol and procedure to support residents to maintain their tenancy and develop independent living skills by paying service charges & rent.?. * Provide support the Team Manager and Senior Recovery Worker to manage voids across the service.?. * Ensure referrals, assessments and service reviews are effective and timely.?. * Empower service users to develop independent living skills as part of a planned move on process.?. * Assist the Team Manager and Senior Recovery Worker to plan, negotiate and manage budgets and to make best use of property, equipment and information technology.?. * To work flexibly as part of the team to ensure service coverage and that contractual obligations are met, including being part of the senior team duty rota.?. . **Why Hestia?**. .
