Risk Manager
Slough
£400 - £450 per day (umbrella)
Full Time Contract (6 months)
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Risk Manager in Slough. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
* Help implement the organisation’s strategy on risk and insurance and continuous service improvement to ensure delivery of its priorities and value to stakeholders
* Provide clear information to support the future development of the service to enable the organisation to meet its future challenges with a culture of continuous improvement.
* Help changes to be embedded in a sustainable way throughout the organisation
* Provide leadership to your team in a way that encourages our staff to recognise their contribution to the strategic objectives the council has set
* Actively contribute to the integrated delivery, improvement, management and performance of the service, commissioning and managing activity within the organisation and externally as required
The candidate:
* Post graduate or relevant knowledge and experience, Or relevant knowledge and experience in ERM
* Experience in facilitating change and transformation, developing productive and collaborative ways of working with colleagues and stakeholders, leading and motivating others to achieve continuous improvement.
* Experience of managing and handling complex financial information and budgets.
