This well regarding professional services company based on the Essex/Herts boarder are seeking a new Management Accountant to join their established team. This role combines financial, analytical and management skills to assist senior management & department heads with financial decisions & to promote the long-term financial success of the business.

Key Responsibilities
* Reviewing P&L and Balance Sheets for the various entities investigating variances with commentaries
* Line responsibility for two Assistant Accountants, working collaboratively to deliver accurate and timely information on a monthly basis
* Working with the Senior Management team & all Department Heads, interpreting and communicating financial data, to assist with financial decisions and improve profitability
* Liaising with all Department Heads on a monthly basis to understand variances, offering insight into potential cost reductions
* Analysing and modelling financial and non-financial data to determine trends and correlations which impact on business decisions, engaging with relevant business area to resolve issues
* Reviewing VAT returns, including partial exemption
* Assisting in the production of the annual budget and periodic forecasting
* Ongoing review of cash flow and assist in the production of forecasts

To be considered for this position the ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

* Qualified Accountant, holding a CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualification
* Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
* Strong background in accounting & financial management
* Experience of working with senior professionals to support key business objectives & growth

This role is a hybrid position 3 days week with 2 days at home & will require some travel to local offices
