Role: Finance Assistant
Employment Type: Permanent, full time base don site 5 days a week
Working Hours: 37.5 Hours per week

The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with an established and growing business based in Keysoe in recruiting a Finance Assistant. This Finance Assistant Role will suit someone who is either AAT studier / qualified or a finance graduate looking for a succession plan with an evolving business. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be the go-to support for day-to-day finance activities.
As the Finance Assistant, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Manage Sales and Purchase Ledgers.
* Collect company debts proactively.
* Prepare financial statements and reports.
* Conduct bank and account reconciliations.
* Maintain fixed assets register.
* Handle weekly payment runs and queries from customers and suppliers.
* Support with the Finance team’s filing system.
* Assist with quarterly VAT returns and monthly payroll.
* Perform ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks.
As the Finance Assistant, you must demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
* Graduate or AAT Level 4 calibre
* Detail-oriented and organised.
* Team player, flexible, and aligned with company values.
* Professional and confident in communications.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Knowledge of Sage (Sage 200 preferred).
* Intermediate Excel skills.
