FP&A Manager | Permanent | Up to £70k | Chester

Marks Sattin are seeking an experienced and dynamic FP&A Manager for a growing and forward thinking business in Chester. You will oversee the Management Accountant and Finance Analyst, taking charge of proactive cost management and comprehensive P&L reporting. Your responsibilities will include budgeting, forecasting, and introducer profitability analysis. You will work closely with the Finance team to challenge existing processes, drive improvements, and implement automation wherever possible.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the preparation of Month End reports in collaboration with the Financial Accountant, Credit Risk, and MI teams.
* Manage costs effectively by partnering with business departments to ensure budgets and forecasts are met through regular reviews.
* Coordinate with the Financial Accountant to ensure third-party payments comply with cost management and PO processes.
* Oversee the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, maintaining models, inputs, and assumptions.
* Conduct introducer profitability analysis, working with Risk and Operations teams to understand key drivers and monitor outcomes.
* Assist the Finance Manager and Financial Accountant during the external audit process and handle arising queries.
* Continuously challenge and seek to automate processes to enhance control and drive efficiency.

About you:
* ACA/ACCA/ACMA Qualified Accountant.
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Positive and proactive, with a keen interest in improving processes and advocating for change.
* A value-driven mindset with a willingness to develop and progress.
