Paraplanner * Location: Nottingham (Hybrid working available)

We are seeking a dedicated Paraplanner to join our team, providing essential support to our Adviser Team in the submission of new and replacement business. The role demands a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, along with product knowledge to ensure suitability letters are prepared efficiently. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and collaboratively, assisting Advisers in maintaining compliance throughout their cases.
Day to Day of the role: * Analyse clients’ requirements, develop cash flow models, and accurately record client data.
* Research and analyse financial products to meet client requirements and objectives.
* Construct financial planning solutions, including investment, retirement, tax, and estate planning, supported by computer models and reports.
* Prepare suitability letters and reports, taking full responsibility for client files and back office IT records throughout the advice process.
* Prepare client reviews, update cash flow models, investment performance reviews, and produce supporting reports and discussion documents.
* Ensure client meeting notes are updated to the CRM system as necessary.
* Act as a point of contact for clients, handling routine issues and queries.
* Work with colleagues to ensure forms are prepared as required and clients are kept informed.
* Submit business in a timely manner, adhering to client money rules.
* Stay informed of legislative changes and regulatory issues, taking necessary action as required.
* Engage in continuous professional development to meet regulatory and personal development needs.
* Build rapport with administration centres to ensure responsive and effective client service.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Previous paraplanning experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment.
* Familiarity with major research systems (e.g., Analytics, Voyant).
* Experience in the Pension Transfer market, with knowledge of Final Salary Pension Transfers being desirable but not essential.
* Experience in the administration of IHT and/or Investment products.
* Up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulation and legislation.
* Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Exceptional attention to detail and effective time management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting demands.
* Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
