Our Peterborough based client is looking for an experienced interim to join them as a Financial Controller on a contract while they recruit a permanent position.

Starting as soon as possible, this role will provide crucial assistance to ensure the smooth running of a large finance function and duties will include
* Ensuring that financial controls are maintained and value added where appropriate
* Ensuring timely completion of month end accounts
* Statutory accounts production and external audit queries
* Ensuring all areas of compliance are adhered
* Internal and external audit relationship management
* Managing a team
This position will suit someone who is post-qualified and has experience working in large, fast-paced businesses where robust financial controls are essential.

The successful candidate will be available at short notice and be happy to commit to a fixed-term contract until at least the end of the year.

Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills are pre-requisites alongside strong people management exposure.
