Venn Group are supporting a London based College group consisting of multiple campus’ and an academy, with the recruitment of a Finance Business Partner. This is a customer focussed role and post holder will be tasked with taking strategic and operational responsibility for the development, management and coordination of budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
Job Profile:
* Providing full financial business support and management accounting service for the faculties and support departments in their portfolio
* Analysing and interpreting financial and non-financial information
* Play a leading role in the planning, budgeting and forecasting process and to support individual budget holders to prepare annual budgets and update quarterly forecasts
* Manage the day to day financial systems and processes in liaison with the management team where relevant
* Provide advice to the management team on financial matters and procedures
* Assist in the development of costing and pricing strategies for the business
Person Specification:
* CCAB qualified Accountant
* Experience working as a Finance Business Partner within an Academy or College
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with other members of staff
* Proven track record in producing clear, informative reports for senior management and excellent report writing skills
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivots, graphs and vlookups
Annual salary: £59,000
Working hours: Full-Time, 36 hours per week
Location: Elephant and Castle, 3 days onsite per week (can vary due to business needs)
