Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Tenancy Management Officer to join our housing team within our Sidcup head office. This is a full time 39hour position.
you will provide our tenants with an excellent housing management service: Issuing tenancies; Effective management and resolution of disputes; Minimising rental arrears & client debts; and meeting our statutory and regulatory obligations when providing these services. It is essential for the right candidate is to have full UK driving license with access to own vehicle for business use.
In this role
Experience
* Experience of working with vulnerable people such as those with learning disabilities, autism or an acquired brain injury – Essential 
* Experience of successfully negotiating rent and service charges with local authorities, and understanding of exempt rents and intensive housing management charges – Essential
* Experience in successfully reducing tenancy arrears and bad debts - Essential
* Experience of evidencing compliance against statutory requirements for tenancy management – Desirable
* Experience supported housing, housing management, and detailed understanding of rents setting and service charge methodology – Desirable
* Experience of working collaboratively with colleagues across a geographically dispersed organisation to deliver housing management services – Desirable

* Possess proficient analytical skills – Essential
