Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking for a Financial Controller for a leading manufacturing business based in Rotherham.
This will be a varied role to manage the financials for the operations as well produce meaningful management information to be presented to a range of stakeholders to enable better decision making. You will also be responsible for managing the finance team day to day.
The offer some excellent benefits including: -
* Salary of up to £62,000 (Dependent on experience)

* 25 days holiday + Stats
* Auto enrolment pension (Switch to group pension in year 2)
* Hybrid working: 1 day WFH per week
Hours of work are 8.30am - 5pm (Monday to Thursday) with an earlier finish on Friday. These hours can be flexed too.
This role will include the following duties:-
* Responsible for managing the finance team day to day
* Production of Monthly Management Accounts along with supporting commentary and analysis
* Production and analysis of various weekly and monthly financial reports
* Statutory accounts preparation
* Identification of trends, monitoring year on year growth / deficit and monitoring against targets
* Controlling and monitoring stock takes
* To build and maintain productive relationships across the business
* To work with external advisors and professional organisations
* To continually review processes and provide recommendations
* Undertake project work as required
* Identify future impactors to the business, provide recommendations as appropriate.
To be successful for this role you will have the following skills and experiences:-
* CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified
* Some experience gained within the manufacturing sector
* Diligent and accurate
* Strong communicator
* Good level of IT skills
* Good attention to detail
