Assistant Accountant

Our client is looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to join their team. As an Assistant Accountant, you will be an integral member of the head office team.
Key Role Responsibilities
* Liaise with Group Accounting Manager / Supervisor and central accounts team to ensure all nominal accounts for relevant sites are fully reconciled and are accurate and information is available within set deadlines.
* Produce Management Accounts and forecasting data complying with company policy and deadlines.
* Submit composite data to the brands within set deadlines.
* Maintain integrity within the balance sheet including monthly reconciliation and minimise any risk.
* Provide guidance on all financial and accounts issues to the relevant Heads of Business and dealership management team including regular review of stock and debt levels.
* Help relevant sites to achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency.
* To provide cover for other management accountants as required.
* Asist sites with annual budgeting across all departments.
* Production of year end audit packs in compliance with our external auditors.
* Report any financial risk to company in line with financial policy.
You will need;
* Comprehensive understanding of efficient running purchase ledgers.
* Good communicator.
* Have previous experience of a similar role is desirable.
