Trainee / Junior Mechanical Fitter (Days-based)

£25,000-£35,000 + Progression + Full Training + 50 hour weeks (including enhanced rate hours) + Overtime + Company Benefits

Are you from a Mechanical background looking to kickstart your career within within a friendly tight-knit team of a leading company offering full training in an exciting, days-based role where you will be carrying out a range of maintenance and inspection works offering overtime to increase your earnings and a platform to build your career?
This company are a market-leading provider of plant machinery and similar to the construction industry, with numerous depots and over 200 employees across the UK. They have continually grown since their establishment whilst growing a loyal customer base, and are now looking to grow their friendly team at their Stratford depot to keep up with an ever increasing workload.
This varied role will see you receive full training and then undertaking pre-delivery inspections and maintenance work on a range of plant machinery after initial product training. You will work within a tight-knit team of 4 as you work from drawings, and undertake some mechanical and controls work in addition to fitting components. You will work Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm with 7.5 hours of this paid as overtime.

This role would suit an aspiring Mechanical Fitter or similar looking for a days-based, static role within a leading company who offer full training and ongoing progression opportunities.
The Role:
* Full training provided
* Undertake Planned Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance and PDIs
* Work within tight-knit team of 4
* Workshop based role
* Check all works and fit accessories and components
* 50 hour weeks- Monday-Friday 7am-5pm (42.5hours paid at normal rate 7.5 hours paid at 1.5x)
* Further overtime available
