Seven Education are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Assessor to work with an established college in South West London . This role is a September start running unitl July 2025.
The role:
This college is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mechanical Engineering Assessor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the progress and performance of apprentices up to Level 3 standards in Mechanical Engineering. The role involves visiting various employer sites to support and assess apprentices, ensuring they meet the requirements of their apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular assessments of apprentices in the workplace, evaluating their skills and knowledge in line with Level 3 Mechanical Engineering standards.
Provide constructive feedback to apprentices and employers to enhance learning and development.
Ensure that all assessments are carried out in compliance with the college and awarding body standards.
Key information:
Pay: £23 per hour via an umbrella company
Hours and days: Full time hours, 09:00am - 5:00pm, Mon-Fri
Qualifications: Hold an assessor’s qualification
Experience with Mechanical Maintenance (pneumatics, hydraulics, fluid power) and machinery installation.
