Reed are seeking an experienced Children Residential Registered Manager to run a 4-bedroom home in Coventry. The role will require input into the OFSTED registration process, including the Statement of Purpose, Policies and Procedures and the Children’s Guide.
This role is not just about managing a children’s home; it’s about creating a nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive!
* Children Residential Registered Manager
* £50,000- £60,000 per annum
* Coventry, CV3
Day to day of the role:
* Lead and inspire a dedicated team to provide exceptional care and create a homely environment for the children.
* Oversee the daily operations of the children’s home, ensuring compliance with regulations and achieving high standards.
* Develop and implement care plans that cater to the individual needs of the children.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, working closely with a designated Psychologist and dedicated education service.
* Engage in direct therapeutic work with children and utilise child-centred budgets to maintain the home to the highest standard.
* Provide support and guidance to your team, including a Deputy Manager, Seniors, and Support Workers.
* Ensure the home is prepared for Ofsted inspections and maintain a “Good” or “Outstanding” grade.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience of the OFSTED Registration process is desirable
* LEVEL 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience relevant to the residential care of children.
* At least 2 years’ experience supervising and managing staff.
* NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce.
* A track record of “Good” or “Outstanding” grades in recent Ofsted Inspections.
