Job Description:
Band 6Occupational Therapist
Location: Southeast England
Band: 6
Duration: ASAP - 12 weeks (about 3 months)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (various patterns considered, including 3 long days and weekend working; 1:4 weeks working until 8pm or 12-8 if on 7.5-hour days)

Our client Trust is a prominent healthcare provider in Southeast England, encompassing three major hospitals. It plays a crucial role in training and education for future healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct rapid assessments of patients to prevent admissions in the Emergency Department.
* Provide support on fast turnaround wards, including frailty and the medical assessment unit.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care and discharge planning.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration is mandatory.
* Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience.
* Experience in NHS or acute medical settings is required.
* Ability to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Desirable Attributes:
* Flexible working patterns, including weekends and extended hours.
* Strong assessment and intervention skills.
