Job Description:
We are looking to recruit experienced Band 6 midwives to join a team of skilled Midwives within the Fetal Medicine Unit. If you are an experienced and NMC registered midwife with an NMC PIN number and wish to make a difference to women and their families, we would like to hear from you.
Description:
* Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and babies during pregnancy, birth, and aftercare.
* Offer health education, psychological, and social care advice, including preconception care where required.
* Be responsible and accountable for the full range of care needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate care programs throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods.
* Act as a preceptor for newly qualified midwives and other staff.
* Work autonomously within guidelines and professional practice.
Skills & Experience:
* Valid NMC registration as a Midwife.
* Proven experience in midwifery practice.
* SSSA evidence of training.
* BFI Training.
* NIPE, NLS, or ALSO equivalent.
* Leadership skills.
