Job Description:
Class 1 (C + E) HGV Driver - WEEKENDS
We are working with a client who is seeking for more HGV Class 1 (Cat C + E) drivers to add to their team, shunting on a terberg (Shunting experience required, however, they will provide in house training.
Main responsibilities:
* Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle
* Being responsible for securing the goods in the vehicle and unloading at each drop
* Perform daily checks on the vehicle and trailer and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Experience:
- Class 1 (Cat C + E) driving experience (1 year minimum for insurance purposes)
- Valid CPC
- Clean driving record
- Shunting
Location:
Runcorn
Salary:
£18.96 PH, 8 hours minimum paid per shift
£10 meal allowance
Holiday pay accrued separately
Working Pattern:
Saturday and Sunday
0700 start till 1800 (11 hours)
