Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a highly motivated Nursery Assistant to join our supply team in Southampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children aged between 6 months and 4 years old.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning and delivery of daily activities, including creative play, reading, and outdoor activities
* Ensure the safety and welfare of the children at all times
* Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Support the key worker in maintaining accurate records of children’s development and progress
* Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other relevant meetings as required
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and child-friendly environment
Requirements:
* Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* A positive attitude towards working with children and their families
* A commitment to continuing professional development

To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
* Hold right to work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references
