Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with a market-leading manufacturer to recruit a CAD Design Engineer to join their site in Sheffield.

Salary - Up to £35k depending on experience 
Reporting to the CAD lead, the CAD Design Engineer will be responsible for staying up to date with new advancements in CAD software and providing functional support to the Technical Team developing new and existing products.
Responsibilities of the CAD Design Engineer will include 
* Produce engineering drawings in SolidWorks and 2D AutoCAD 
* Support the creation of BOMs
* Create/check and amend drawings/specifications 
* Complete technical checks before going to Production
* Help Design Engineers create new product drawings
* Help tech support and training teams deliver technical information
* Contribute to developing technical drawing and design resources for customers
* Support improvements to the quality of technical design resources in customer communications 
We would be keen to speak with CAD Design Engineers with the following:
* Degree-qualified in an Engineering field 
* Apprenticeship trained Engineering    
* Significant experience working in a design team 
* Industry experience in using CAD/Drive works/SolidWorks
* Thorough capability of preparation, review and redrafting
