My client is looking for a dedicated Billing Assistant to join the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing and be adept at resolving queries, preparing invoices, and assisting with month-end processes. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic finance department and collaborate with Accounts Payable and Credit Control teams.
Duties:
* Resolve billing queries through the shared email box and CMS portal.
* Answer occasional calls directed to the billing department.
* Assist with month-end processes, including the monthly bill run.
* Prepare invoices, ensuring the accuracy of information and reconciling accounts.
* Work primarily within the Accounts Receivable department with opportunities to support Accounts Payable and Credit Control teams.
* Participate in occasional credit run meetings with the company’s Finance Director.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience within an Accounts Receivable and Billing department.
* Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and strong numerical abilities.
* Great communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with a range of stakeholders.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
* A collaborative team player willing to handle a variety of tasks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
