Conveyancing Paralegal

* Salary: Circa £26-30,000 – depending on experience
We are seeking a dedicated Conveyancing Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing a diverse caseload of conveyancing matters, providing support to our solicitors, and ensuring a smooth transaction process for our clients.
Day to day of the role:
* Assist solicitors with the management of caseloads from inception to completion.
* Draft, prepare and review various legal documents related to property transactions, including contracts, transfers, mortgage deeds, and completion statements.
* Conduct legal research and due diligence, including property searches and the review of title deeds.
* Liaise with clients, solicitors, mortgage lenders, and estate agents to facilitate communication and ensure all parties are informed of progress.
* Maintain accurate records and manage case files effectively, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
* Handle pre- and post-completion procedures, including the submission of stamp duty land tax forms and registration applications to the Land Registry.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment.
* Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and property law.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
* Proficient in the use of case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a team player mentality.
