My client, a reputable solicitor’s firm based in Liverpool, is seeking an experienced Employment Law Solicitor to join their dynamic team. This role involves independently managing and running employment law litigation claims, including:
* Drafting pleadings and statements
* Attending Preliminary Hearings (PHRs) and Case Management Discussions (CMDs)
* Managing and responding to tribunal correspondence
* Conducting settlement negotiations
* Handling disclosure and witness statements
* The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge and drafting skills, with a strong commercial acumen.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a small caseload of claims, representing both respondents and claimants, from the point of ACAS Early Conciliation (EC) to final hearing
* Collaborate with the firm’s team and accept work from an associated HR consultancy
* Handle claims that are both privately funded and insurance-backed
Requirements:
* Proven experience in employment law litigation
* Strong technical knowledge and drafting skills
* Ability to work independently and manage cases from start to finish
* Commercially minded with a strategic approach to case management
