SEN Teacher | Job Summary
* Salary: £160-£280 daily rate
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons adhering to the college’s guidelines and external accrediting bodies’ requirements.
* Utilise teaching strategies specifically designed for students with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Supervise and guide learning support workers, students, and volunteers during class.
* Create differentiated lesson plans to meet curriculum requirements and individual student targets.
* Monitor and report on students’ progress, maintaining accurate records as per college procedures.
* Compile and update students’ work files, tracking progress towards learning outcomes.
* Complete all necessary educational materials and documentation.
* Ensure students’ physical well-being, implementing appropriate therapies, and overseeing support provided by assistants.
* Manage learning support assistants within your class team.
* Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, celebrating each student’s individual work.
* Provide comprehensive academic, pastoral, and personal support for students, including acting as a personal tutor and overseeing lunchtime supervision.
* Perform administrative tasks pertinent to teaching duties.
