Halcyon Care Essex, are looking for a Registered Children’s Manager to join a dedicated children’s residential home in the Southeast of England. The organisation specialises in providing residential care for young people, creating a culture that ensures children feel a sense of homeliness as opposed to institutionalised. The Role
Whilst having the responsibilities of the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance in all relevant legislations - you will also be a leader in assisting team members to encourage the support, independence and safeguarding for the young people through detailed training and development. As the registered manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the children have a positive experience of their childhood that they can carry with them into adulthood.
Requirements
You will have significant experience with young people in the residential care setting, with previous management experience and being a champion for them, along with your team members. You’ll also have a steadfast commitment to high quality service that meets OFSTED regulations and the continuous maintenance of these standards.
