Accounts Supervisor (Purchase & Sales Ledger)

Are you an experienced Accounts Supervisor with experience managing the account receivable and accounts payable looking to work for a marking leading company who will provide you with a great working environment and flexibility?

Would you like to a key part of the finance team reporting directly to the Financial Controller?

On offer is a supervisory role that requires a proactive, motivated, self-driven individual who is customer focused and results driven. You will be willing to learn and become multi-skilled across a range of skills and disciplines and be willing to lead by example.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in supervising purchase and sales ledger and be good at building effective relationships.

The Role:
* Overall responsibility for the management of Accounts Receivable including maintenance of the Accounts Receivable Ledger and management of team
* Lead the Credit Control process to ensure customer debts are collected within a timely fashion
* Overall responsibility for the management of Accounts Payable, including maintenance of the Accounts Payable Ledger and management of team
* Responsible for preparation/review of regular BACS / SEPA runs (drafted by team).
* Assistance with the completion of the month end close-down for Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
* Acting as a link between the Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable functions and the Finance / General ledger function
The Person:
* AAT Qualification would be an advantage with familiarity with ERP systems, and preferably having experience of working in a manufacturing company.
