Entrepreneurial manufacturing group which has seen significant growth within the last 2 years and have a very strong order book into 2025/26 are now seeking to appoint a Financial Controller with FD potential in the short term.
At a current turnover of £13m, this will initially require a real "sleeves rolled up" attitude, managing a small team. However within 12 months its anticipated that you would be hiring a Financial Controller enabling a step up to Finance Director. The business has a real sense of purpose, a culture of camaraderie and we’re looking for a dynamic character who will enjoy being fully involved and engaged across the organisation.
Opportunities include:
* Development of the finance function, its ability to support ongoing growth and the delivery of improved management information
* Working on strategic planning as part of the leadership team, leading discussions with external parties including banks, auditors, and involvement with potential investors/acquisition propositions as they arise
To be considered for this role you will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with proven experience in a financial leadership role ideally within a manufacturing SME environment. Knowledge of an ERP system would be advantageous.
